Kerry Ollivierre
Electrical and Computer Engineer
Kerry Ollivierre
Born and raised in the Caribbean island of Grenada, I travelled to the US for further personal development. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a track in Electronics, Photonics and Quantum Systems. My interests lie in the semiconductor industry, as well as the
manufacturing and designing of SoC's. I also have a knack for coding and am generally a quick learner.
Prior to my enrollment at the University of Texas, I obtained my bachelor's degree from Florida Tech , where I studied Computer Engineering. At Florida Tech I was a member o a senior design group that created a peltier based cooling system using
thermo electric modules to create a smart cooling tile. During my tenure at Florida Tech, in addition to my academic endeavors, I was an ambitious student athlete.
My limited professional experience over the years were overshadowed by my athletic career. With consistent training in and out of school semesters.

Volunteer:
• Led a 5-member team to organize a self-pioneered swim clinic.
This 3-day swim clinic was organized to give back to the Grenada swimming community.
The clinic catered to young swimmers ages eleven and up.
The clinic entailed tackling the four strokes from a more experienced and technical perspective as well as integral aspects such as starts,
turns and stroke timing.
Projects
Project: Senior Design
Topic: Peltier Cooling
Description: Smart ceiling tile employing radiative cooling by means of thermoelectric modules and phase changing materials as a cooling mechanism.
This allows for the direct cooling of a human being based on their body temperature, as compared to cooling the air in the room.
Project: Power Management Systems
Topic: Constant-On Time Valley Current Mode Buck Converter
Project: Embedded Systems
Topic: Mitigation of Power-Analysis Side Channel Attacks: Performance Trade-offs of Various Strategies
Project: Semiconductor Memories
Topic: Reliability of 3D Interconnects for Heterogeneous Integration
Description: Modeled and tested the reliability of 3D interconnects, specifically Cu-TSVs to understand what affects its reliability,
and find ways to improve it.
